Project Manager – Utility Scale Solar

Location: Texas

Salary: $110,000 - $160,000 + Bonus + Benefits

The Opportunity

Viridis Talent is supporting a leading utility-scale solar developer and EPC contractor in their search for an experienced Project Manager to oversee the delivery of large-scale solar projects across Texas.

This role will take ownership of projects from pre-construction through to commissioning, ensuring delivery on time, within budget and to the highest safety and quality standards. You will work closely with internal engineering, procurement and construction teams, whilst acting as the primary point of contact for contractors, consultants and key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead utility-scale solar projects through construction and commissioning phases
• Manage project schedules, budgets and risk mitigation plans
• Coordinate EPC contractors, suppliers and engineering teams
• Monitor project performance and provide regular progress updates to senior leadership
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and regulatory requirements
• Support contract administration and change order management
• Drive project delivery whilst maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships

Requirements

• 3+ years' experience managing utility-scale renewable energy projects
• Previous experience within Solar PV, BESS or wider infrastructure projects
• Strong understanding of project controls, budgeting and scheduling
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Willingness to travel to project sites across Texas
